Women's Soccer

 

The Women's Soccer team continues to be heroes on and off the field. In addition to an impressive 2006 season, the Lady Paladins have been major contributers to Furman's sustainability initiatives.

Some of the projects the team has been involved with include:

  • Campus Sustainability Day
  • The Furman Lake Restoration Project
  • Trail Maintainance
  • Invasive Shrub Removal (Helping eradicate the invasive Chinese Privit from the campus woods)
  • Recycling Sweeps (assisting and educating dorm residents with recycling)

Junior defender Mickey Palanza is a student member of Furman's Environmental Sustainability Committee and plays an crucial role in the success of the universities sustainability efforts.
